Hello! I’m Katie-Laine Thornton (she/her) - Makeup Artist, Hair Stylist and Beauty Educator located in Nashville, TN and available for travel. I have over 20 years of professional experience in multiple aspects of the beauty industry. I offer customized makeup and hair styling for all. One of the most important things to me is being an inclusive business with experience and skill working with all skin tones, ethnicities, ages, sizes, genders, etc. I provide a custom experience for each client I work with. I also offer in-person and virtual lessons and classes for my clients and industry professionals. I love using products that are beautifully formulated, sustainable and high-performing. I also love supporting brands that utilize ethical business practices, are committed to inclusion and diversity, and are BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and/or woman-owned.

I’m an extroverted virgo (ENFP), mom, and total dabbler. I have a penchant for hot tea, reading (especially mystery novels), plants, art, and deep conversations. I love helping people feel beautiful in whatever way feels authentic for them.  My favorite part about doing makeup and hair is helping people feel amazing, confident, and comfortable.
